A month’s freshen up as done the trick for Jade Division, who claimed her first victory at Warren today.
The son of Panzer Division utilised his good draw (4) and find a comfortable spot mid-field on the fence as the field raced through the first half of the Maiden (1200m).
Approaching the time, jockey Shayleigh Ingelse found the leader’s back as runner’s in front began to ease out in readiness for the run home.
This gave Jade Division and Shayleigh, the perfect opening as the field straightened for home, and their pair seized upon the opportunity.
As the leader skipped away, Jade Division gave chase and hit top gear at the 200 mark, racing past the leader and onto a comprehensive 3 length win.
