Heading to Coonamble on Sunday we had a bit of confidence that we'd come home with a winner or 2 and as it turned out we did pick up a winner with Velocity Miss in the first race of the day. The horse had been working well leading into Sunday so we were expecting a forward showing but we certainly didn't expect her to blow away her opposition as easily as she did. 7 Lengths is a big margin considering the filly hit the lead alot earlier than anticvipated and to her credit she was full of running and was too strong for her rivals on the day. As a 2YO who has now proved to have above average ability it may be the perfect time to give her an opportunity to try and win a race in town.
