Heading into the cold months of Winter, Thompson Racing is in full flight having posted 5 winners this month and 10 over the past 8 weeks. Our most recent winner was Pencita at Parkes on Sunday where she was triumphant in the Class 2 over 1200m. She was up in grade and had a big hurdle to overcome as in a horse by the name of Barbass who is an up and comer in the area and Barbass was not only the odds on pop in our race but many felt that this horse was just unbeatable. Pencita wasn’t put off by the wraps on the favourite and she went out there with Jake in the saddle and showed what she had to offer which was a stylish 3/4 of a length win.
Congratulations to her connections, it was a very thrilling win and hopefully the stable can continue full steam ahead to have a very successful run over the coming months.
